I build products by starting with the problem, not the technology.

I’m Babatunde, a technical product person based in Cambridge. I graduated in June 2026 with a First-Class BSc in Computer Science from Anglia Ruskin University (81.42% overall, 87% on the final-year product research project), and I spent most of those three years doing the same thing repeatedly: finding a workflow that was failing someone, understanding it properly, and building something that fixed it.

That started with ExamMaster, which I built because my coursemates and I were spending more time assembling revision material than revising. It carried through live-client projects with Together Culture and TrackGenesis, where I learned that the hard part is almost never the code — it’s getting a stakeholder to say clearly what they need, and then holding scope while you deliver it.

X-Vendor best illustrates how I work. It began as an observation about street-food vendors keeping paper ledgers with no printer and unreliable power, and it’s now a multi-tenant SaaS with multi-outlet support and subscription tiers. Alongside that, I’ve remotely led product and operational change at Afadapa Enterprises, my family’s aquaculture business, and completed a research project on decentralised food-surplus redistribution.

How I actually work

Across these products I identified the problems, ran the discovery, mapped the workflows, defined the requirements, prioritised the features, directed AI-assisted implementation using tools such as Lovable, then tested and iterated with real users. I’m explicit about that because it changes how you should read the work.

I’m early-career in formal PM-title terms, but I have practical ownership across discovery, requirements, prioritisation, testing and iteration. AI accelerates implementation; problem framing, prioritisation, validation and accountability for the outcome still require product judgement, and that is the part I own.

Outside the build

I was elected Science & Engineering Faculty Representative (October 2023 — October 2024), representing 500+ students and leading 20 student initiatives, and was Highly Commended for Cambridge Rep of the Year in 2024 — that role taught me more about stakeholder management than any module did. I’ve pitched at Barclays Eagle Labs through Connected Cambridge, won Best Presentation in the first round of the #ThinkBigARU pitching competition, and separately took second prize in the Engineers and Scientists in Business Fellowship (ESBF) round of the same competition.

What I’m looking for

Open to UK Technical Product Manager, Associate Product Manager, Product Analyst, Technical Business Analyst and AI Product roles. Ideally somewhere with real operational complexity, where understanding the domain is half the job.
